Industry professionals explain how to make the most of raw materials in feed production
Meet FOSS at VIV Asia, 13th-15th March, Bangkok
FOSS is exhibiting at VIV Asia (Hall 103, Booth no. F075) and will present a free technical seminar on how feed producers can make the best of raw materials through advanced feed analysis. The topics and presenters are:
- “Precise Nutrition Evaluation – latest research” By Cecile Gady, Research Manager NIRS & Feedstuff, Adisseo
- “Optimising Profits Through NIR - Working relationship between Nutreco and FOSS in Asia” By Nabil Chinniah, Vice President Asia Pacific, Trouw Nutrition Indonesia, a Nutreco company
- “Examples from instant quality optimization of feed, meat and dairy production” By Martin Andersson, PhD and Kowalski Award in NIR & Chemometrics, FOSS Japan
The seminar will be held on Thursday 14th March from 13.30-14.30 at Room 212 (BITEC Bangkok)
The power of NIR
FOSS will also be part of the official Conference Program VIV Asia 2013. International Market Manager, Feed & Forage, Laura Locatelli will present the many options now available through near infrared (NIR) analytical technology to optimize feed production process and quality control.
Laura will give the presentation at the CropTech-FeedTech Conference on Wednesday 13th March
at 14:00 - 16:00 in room 210 (BITEC Bangkok).
FOSS hopes the seminar and conference contributions will be of value and that VIV Asia attendees can learn more about the increasing value of analytical technology in supporting an increasingly challenged global feed industry.
Analytical tools ready to improve output and quality
FOSS is exhibiting a comprehensive range of advanced in-line and bench top near infrared (NIR) analytical solutions for the feed and meat industries together with solutions for chemical analysis.
Among the products on show is ProFoss feed analyser for continuous inline analysis directly in the feed production process. For benchtop analysis in the laboratory or in the production, the recently-released NIRS™ DS2500 offers unprecedented NIR accuracy for a broad range of applications, from checking protein content to determining the amount of digestible amino acids for an improved feed conversion ratio. The highly robust, NIRS™ DA1650 analyser for use in the laboratory or in the production environment will also be on show.
Getting the fat content in meat just right
In the meat industry getting the fat content just right is crucial. For meat producers, the MeatScan™ is an easy, flexible and cost effective solution for routine fat analysis. Representatives at the FOSS stand can explain how to standardise the meat fat content in batches and avoid over use of expensive raw material. At the same time, the MeatScan can help to control supplies by assessing meat fat content of incoming raw material.
