Casein test can improve yield for cheese and yogurt producers
FOSS will present on the subject of rapid casein analysis with Fourier Transform Infra-Red technology (FTIR) at the 2011 International Dairy Show, Georgia Atlanta, 19th – 21st September.
Cheese makers often estimate casein content in milk from their protein measurement. However, research shows that casein as a percentage of protein in milk is subject to change due to factors such as the dairy herd, geography and seasonal variations. Using FT-IR can provide a more reliable casein measurement with benefits in terms of maximised yield.
The presentation will be made by: Mr. Ole Rasmussen and is scheduled for Monday, September 19, 2011 from 1:00 PM - 1:20 PM.
n extensive range of milk and dairy product analyzers will be on show at the event, booth #1251.
