How routine analysis can ensure the best use of resources in food production
See our solutions at ANUGA, Cologne, March 24th – 27th, Hall 6– Booth A100 and Hall 5.2– Booth C041
The main theme for the 2015 ANUGA FOOD TEC trade show is how the food industry can optimise the use of resources in food production. FOSS is backing this up 100% with two booths packed with innovative analytical solutions each with particular advantages for food producers today.
Our stand in the Process technology section in Hall 6 will highlight the MeatMaster™ II as a prime example of how accurate analysis can make the best possible use of raw material. As explained in this video, the accuracy of the X-ray fat analysis helps to make the best possible use of raw material with considerable gains in profit and product quality for users. Near Infrared (NIR) instruments such as the in-line ProFoss™ solution and the widely used FoodScan™ will also be featured.
In the Food Safety and quality section in Hall 5.2 the FOSS stand will feature the MilkoScan™ FT1 for testing milk and dairy products. In addition to providing rapid analysis of key quality parameters, the MilkoScan FT1 can also be programed to screen the milk for abnormalities as an indication of accidental or deliberate adulteration. The programming work is facilitated by some screening models as explained in this article.
Automated chemical analysis solutions such as the innovative Kjeltec™ and the Soxtec™ for reference analysis of fat without sample transfer will demonstrate how laboratories can save on time and resources while reducing the risk of human error. A raft of NIR solutions for rapid analysis of all sorts of food and ingredients will be displayed including the FoodScan™ Pro, MeatScan™ and NIRS™ DS 2500.
